Hello Fellow Bloggers and everyone else,

Welcome to my blog as I embark on this mouth-watering journey!


 My name is Suchi and I am an Indian girl living in Connecticut with my husband (Harsha).  While I am from Gujarat, a state in western India; my husband is from Karnataka, a state in southern India.  Though I've always been a foodie, my interest in cooking developed only after I got married in late 2010.  I love to cook and eat authentic dishes from all the different regions of India as well as fusion and international cuisines.  One can find Sev-khamni on our dining table one day, Puliyogare on another day and Crispy Salmon on a different day.  We love variety!  

While searching for recipes, I stumbled upon some food blogs and was amazed to see the effort people (especially working women) are putting into experimenting with different ingredients and recipes, and then blogging about their experiences.  I am eager to be a part of this community of wonderful cooks and wonderful people.  I consider myself an amateur cook, but I plan to use this blog as a motivation to try and learn new dishes as well as learn the dishes which my husband or I have grown up eating.  My husband is an equal partner in crime in the kitchen, so here; you will also see dishes made by him.

I promise that all the recipes posted on this blog are first tried and tested in our kitchen.  The measurements given in the recipes are approximate, so please use them only as a reference and adjust them according to your taste buds.
